Welcome to Knotted Titans Kennel, where our dogs are family! We started with Freya, our Golden Retriever, a perfect companion for our kids and a great hunting partner. Then, we discovered the Boykin Spaniel, a breed that stole our hearts. These agile pups, born in the South Carolina swamps, are amazing hunters with webbed feet and curly coats, earning them the nickname “Swamp Poodles.” Our first Boykin, Cleo, came from Georgia and has been a joy. Bjorn, from South Carolina, joined us two years later. Whether we’re backpacking, paddleboarding, hiking, or relaxing at home, our Boykins are always up for fun. They’re incredibly agile and swift, making their forest runs a sight to behold. They are also unrivaled swimmers and can outpace and outdistance our Golden every time. The best part? Their unwavering companionship. Boykins are adventurous, athletic, and sweet. They love to snuggle and lay at your feet and sleep near (or on) you every chance they get. They are intelligent and highly trainable, always eager to learn new tricks. Bjorn, our “circus dog,” has a long list of tricks he loves to perform. Their loyalty is extraordinary, making them more than pets or hunting dogs —they’re confidantes and emotional anchors. We adore our Boykins for their size, adaptability, athleticism, intelligence, loyalty, and companionship.
